The Therapaw Protective Dog Boot is our most popular boot providing extra protection on the sole helping dogs who have painful paw issues. This Therapaw Protective Dog Boot has an ultra-cushioned interior pad that alleviates pain, reduces lameness and promotes more even weight distribution. The perforated top sole and eye-hole design allow the paw to breathe, reducing moisture build-up at the injured site. If you own a greyhound or whippet, please look at our Hunnyboots especially designed for sighthounds.

  • Extra thick sole for protection and comfort
  • Ideal for a dog with painful paws (arthritis, corns, injury, allergies etc.)
  • Medical grade boot with a non-skid rubber sole
  • Velcro strap to fit securely
  • Sold individually

Review: "My elderly dog’s paw pads are soft and one of them had actually split, I recommend this product as it fits securely, everything else I tried did not stay on. Delivery service was excellent. Although it seems expensive, compared with vet fees this boot is well worth the money." [Margaret, Scotland]  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Too small

Unfortunately the dog boot is to small even though I measured my dogs foot as per instructions. I have had to pay postage to return and would have to pay more postage if I want replacement boot. What if that’s not the right size?

Too easy to remove

This boot is too easy to remove - one chew will remove it so it has not been much use so far

Best boots

These are the best boots we've found so far for our greyhound, even though they're naturally too wide. They're tough and have ingenious velcro on strong elastic, so they're really easy to tighten. We have to put two pairs of socks on her, and pad her legs where the boots tighten as they were hurting her bony legs. Despite the width issues, we prefer these to the greyhound honey boots.
Honey Boots are good, but they're still too wide for our girl, we struggled to avoid her drew claws, and they twist round because they're too wide, and they're much more difficult to tighten and keep on.
It's expensive but we've found we had to buy all the boots we could find and try them on our girl's long and thin paws.
Both types of boots have stopped her from getting more corns, so are worth every penny.

Great boot

Bought this for my spaniel with ongoing sore pad due to hip dysplasia making him walk slightly different on hind leg..gradually got him used to it now wears it for few hours when out for a long hike..(as he’s only young)
Boot is great doesn’t slip off or work it’s way down even when running at top speed, would be great if they did one that’s waterproof, but we got over this by putting a balloon boot over the top of the therapaw but would definitely recommend

Best greyhound boots

Very relived that these were back in stock as my greyhound has worn his old ones out (they have lasted years I would add).
The design is slightly different from his old boots in that the Velcro fastening is wider, and I was a bit concerned they might not fit so well, but they’re great. 10 year old greyhound is striding out comfortably in his new boots. I have tried another brand which are cheaper, and although they were nice boots, they didn’t stay on well. Just wish they weren’t so expensive but he finds pavements and stones so uncomfortable that they are a necessity.
