Boots to Protect your Dogs Paws

Boots to Protect your Dogs Paws

Sometimes our dogs injure their paws, it can be a cut or bruised pad, a thorn or glass, or more long term problem like corns or abscesses. We can help speed up the healing process by using a protective dog boot. These dog boots are usually sold individually and will prevent any dirt getting in the affected area, as well as cushioning the pads which helps to reduce pain. There are a few protective dog boots available, so its important to know the differences, and whether they will be suitable for your dog.

Therapaws Dog Boots

If your dog has corns, or any longer term issue causing pain to the pads or paws, we would recommend the Therapaw dog boot. The Therapaw dog boot has an ultra-cushioned interior pad which alleviates pain, reduces lameness, and promotes more even weight distribution. The perforated top sole and eye-hole design allow the paw to breathe, reducing moisture build-up at the injured site. This is very important as some dog boots are not breathable and should not be left on for periods of time.

If your dog has a cut or a damaged pad, you can also use the Therapaws boots, or you can opt for our Paws dog boots which are disposable and re useable.

Pawz is the world's only disposable and reusable, waterproof dog boot. Made of natural rubber, Pawz are 100% biodegradable. Pawz are designed to go on easily and fit securely without zippers or straps. Fashionable yet durable, Pawz offers serious paw protection. Pawz is the most natural-feeling boot your dog can wear because without padding your dog feels the ground, providing a needed sense of security. Like a sock, Pawz moves with your dog, allowing full paw motion and maximum comfort. And imagine never losing another expensive dog boot again! Pawz come 12 in a package and each boot may be worn many times.

The Paws dog boots are inexpensive and are great for use in wet, icy or hot weather as extra protection. We recommend that these boots are removed at intervals to dry out any moisture in the paws.

Paws Dog Boots

There are other dog boots out there, but we always select what we think are the best, top quality products for your dog. Inferior cheaply made products can rub and cause longer term problems if the fitting is not right.
