Instead of posting your dog's rear legs into the wheelchair leg rings, put the harness on and clip the wheelchair to the harness clips. Then off you go! This Rear Lift Dog Harness comes with handles so you can stand up straight and not strain your back. The Rear Lift Dog Harness is made of durable canvas on the outside and lined with soft fleece for maximum comfort on the inside. This Rear Lift Dog Harness allows your dog to the toilet as normal while wearing the harness. The Walkin' Rear Lift Harness can also be used instead of the Leg Rings in the Walkin’ Wheelchair.

Needs better measuring and sizing info

The product is of high quality and seems would work very well but unfortunately even by following the measuring instructions carefully the size is too big (long) for a dachshund.

Rear lift harness

We purchased this harness shortly after buying the wheels last summer, however as our dog us a large breed it was not easy to get on and off and was not really useful as a means to get her into the wheels. However today we decided she possibly now needed further support than the foam straps. The description clearly states that toileting can be done naturally whilst wearing. Unfortunately this is not the case, the wee ran up her belly. I have had to wash everything including my dog, this has never happened with the ring straps, and I don’t know what the solution is, any body any ideas?
