The Assisi LOOP is excellent at reducing inflammation and pain for your dog. Perhaps your dog has had an injury or is recovering from surgery. The Assisi LOOP will help activate your dog's natural anti-inflammatory process by using an electromagnetic signal pulsing at low levels - tPEMF. The pulsing increases their blood flow, which accelerates the process of reducing swelling and inflammation around their injury. Reducing inflammation is a first step to reducing pain and discomfort.

Electromagnetic helps a long list of conditions: such as bone, joint, or soft tissue injuries, muscle sprains and tears, spinal or nerve disorders, osteoarthritis, cruciate injuries, IVDD, hip or elbow dysplasia, broken bones, Wobblers Disease. It’s also excellent for post-surgical care (e.g. after ACL surgery, amputations or tumor removals) and inflammatory conditions like pancreatitis.

How does it work?
1. Put the Assisi LOOP on the area that needs treatment
2. Press the ON button
3. The device will run for 15 minutes before automatically turning off
4. Keep the device as circular as possible for the most effective treatment field
5. Once improvement is seen and consistent, you can taper off treatment

Start with two to four 15-minute treatments per day, with a rest time of at least two hours between treatments. Designed to be used every day, so there is a cumulative effect.

Assisi LOOP therapy is proven safe and effective

Assisi LOOP therapy is proven safe and effective

Backed by years of peer-reviewed clinical research

Targeted Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (tPEMF) therapy delivers a micro-current to damaged tissue that is precisely tuned to trigger an animal’s own natural anti-inflammatory process. The electromagnetic signal, which is one-one-thousandth the strength of a cell phone, stimulates cellular repair by upregulating the body’s own production of endogenous nitric oxide (NO).

Frequently Asked Questions

Which version of the Assisi LOOP should I purchase?

10 CM or 20 CM? While the 10 CM Assisi LOOP is often used when treating small areas of the body such as eyes and paws, the 20 CM Assisi LOOP provides a larger treatment field and is the better choice for treating larger areas of the pet, including hips, heads, and limbs.

What is the recommended treatment protocol?

We recommend starting with 2-3 treatments per day, spacing them out at least two hours apart. For acute inflammation, you should see noticeable relief after the first or second treatment. With chronic or degenerative issues, you may not see notable results for 2 to 4 weeks. You will want to continue the treatments as recommended by your veterinarian for continued long-term healing.Veterinary professionals can download the Assisi LOOP Clinical Use Guide for a more detailed understanding of treatment recommendations. The Guide offers over 40 step-by-step illustrated protocols for applying the Loop to almost 300 inflammatory conditions affecting distinct parts of dogs’ and cats’ anatomy.

What is the therapy field like? How large, what shape, etc.?

The 20 cm (7.5 inch) Assisi Loop® delivers a clinically effective therapeutic signal to damaged tissue that is positioned within the perimeter of a barrel-shaped treatment zone, as illustrated. The effective treatment zone (ETZ) extends 25 cm (10 inches) above and below the plane of the applicator coil (i.e. 50 cm or 20 inches, from end-to-end). The diameter of the ETZ is 25 cm (10 inches) at its widest point around the applicator coil and 20 cm (7.5″) at its ends.

The ETZ for the 10 cm (4 inch) Loop extends 12.5 cm (5 inches) above and below the plane of the applicator coil. The diameter of the zone is also 12.5 cm (5 inches) at its wides point around the applicator coil.

How do I make sure the Assisi LOOP stays in place?

Keeping your pet in your lap or in a contained area can be helpful in ensuring the full treatment is completed.

IMPORTANT: If you plan to use a metal crate for treatment, the metal can diminish the impact of the treatment. While it is not dangerous, it will reduce the dose received. A crate that has a wide wire mesh will not reduce dosing significantly, but a solid metal piece could. Arranging the treatment in the crate so the Loop is on top of the pet, rather than against the crate and pet will reduce any interference. Similarly, using the Loop over a metal implant, in a bed with metal coils, or metal brace will not cause any harm, although it may reduce the dose the pet receives. If possible, position the Loop so that it is 4-5 inches from the metal. You may choose to place a thick pad in the kennel or on the bed to allow for this distance.

Do I need to discontinue daily medications, acupuncture, or laser treatments during Assisi LOOP treatments?

No! The Assisi LOOP® is an ideal adjunct therapy, meaning it can be used with other forms of treatment – even the very same day. However, given that the LOOP and other treatment options have different mechanisms of action, we recommend that you allow 2 hours between treatments, so your pet receives the full benefit of each modality.

Can the Assisi LOOP be used with a pacemaker or other implanted medical electronic devices?

Out of an abundance of caution, we recommend not using the Assisi LOOP if you or your pet has a pacemaker or other electronic devices.

How long will an Assisi LOOP last?

The Assisi LOOP offers approximately 150 15-minute treatments.

The life of the LOOP depends on the battery. You are likely to get more than the minimum number of treatments noted above if you allow the Loop to rest for 2 hours after every 15-minute treatment. At this time, there is no way to recharge or replace the battery. One Assisi LOOP 2.0 can last anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months, depending on the condition being treated and the number of treatments required per day.

How do I dispose of the Assisi LOOP?

You can take the LOOP to any store that offers electronics recycling such as Staples or OfficeMax. This will allow for responsible disposal of the lithium batteries as well as the copper wire.
