Dermagic Skin Rescue Lotion for Dogs

Customer Question:

Our dog is allergic to grass etc. and licks his feet a lot and sometimes they bleed. What would you suggest to stop him licking them and also protect his paws when outside?

Zoomadog Answer:

Thanks for getting in touch.

To best way to stop your dog's allergy is to sooth the paw. Take a look at Dermagic Skin Rescue Lotion, this is easy to rub into your dog's paw and it is fantastic at stopping them biting their feet and calms the allergy down as they don't like the taste of the lotion! You will want to use a little lotion in the house to stop them licking their paws and then the use boots for outdoors.

For boots - the best boots for your dog would be our Walker Active Boots. They have good protection for the outdoors and are breathable. For sizing, measure your Westie's paw width.

Customer Question:

Hi, Do you have anything to treat itchy back paws on my dog? He has been to the vet twice and was given liquid the first time and gel the second time. He now wears a comfort donut for bedtime to stop him causing himself damage.

Zoomadog Answer:

The best first step is to top the itching, take a look at Dermagic Skin Rescue Lotion which comes in small bottles. Rub this into your dog's paw and it will rapidly calm the area down. Start with the small bottle and see how you get on.

We would also suggest a boot to protect the paw and to stop your dog instantly licking off the cream. For inside, our Walker Comfort Care Boots would be the best. They are soft and padded, with Velcro around the top so your dog can't bite or take off.

my dog has had blood blisters inbetween her toes on and off since last september her fur had come off and the blisters bleed, she has been to the vets and had cream for them they cleared up and came back (by the way the vet was lovely and very helpful) then we had a blood test and there are no underlying problems,i have tried everything i can think of and stumbled on the dermagic lotion so i thought i would give it a try,i have only been useing it for a couple of days and i have noticed a slight difference,i know iv got a long way to go but it is the best cream i have bought.
