Great support for our dog

Our dog lost the use of his back legs a month or so ago - he is ten years old. We have been struggling with taking him out to toilet him and have used a couple of rear support harnesses which have proved uncomfortable for him and resulted in him peeing on his undercarriage and front legs most of the time. The help em up harness with the handles is by far the best harness we have had. Our dog is comfortable and can toilet normally and we can support him as needed using the handles. Getting him in and out of car is much easier too. Putting the harness on the front is easy however I find the rear part a bit trickier with all the straps and making sure the fit underneath is right with his bits ( he’s not been neutered). Although it takes a little longer we manage and we are getting better and more confident with fitting it each time - possibly having the side straps and rear straps on the back bit colour coded would help. Overall a great harness.

Roxy Loves It!

Roxy is an old dog with hip dysplasia. She recently had bladder surgery too, and was hospitalised after complications. She struggles with stairs so much. This harness has been so useful to help her be with the other dogs and family.

Mini Dachschund & 6’ Male

We are having a struggle with the leads alongside our Miniture Dachschund and myself being 6’ I find myself stooping over to use them correctly, other than that they are very well made!!

Really helps

Does the job nicely for aiding walking down steps and up steps. Quite heavy but this is outweighed by the positives it brings.
