These handles are adjustable in length, have metal clip heads, are made of quality neoprene that is both strong and flexible. These handles are made by Help Em Up. You can clip the handles in a variety of ways - vertically from front to back supporting the whole body, or horizontally from side-to-side supporting the front shoulders or rear hips. Excellent for dog overcoming vestibular (balance) problems

Vet recommended help ‘em up harness to help our dog with geriatric vestibular illness back on his feet. He has recovered well the last two weeks and is able to walk on flat surfaces easily but still gets caught out cocking his leg up a tree (can’t keep stable on the roots), on sharp slope changes, stairs and divots in grass. This harness with the handles allows him to walk unsupported until he starts to tip because he still doesn’t make the right moves to recover an out of balance situation. The handles allow me to catch his trip and stop the fall so that it is just a small stumble. As a 14 - 15 yr old GSD X rescue he unsurprisingly has a little arthritis and this harness makes it easier than just a front harness to take a little weight off his front legs when walking on a slope at the end of a walk. We don’t need it particularly but the hip section would allow us to do the same with the back legs. Wish we’d bought one earlier :)

I’m really pleased with the harness , my Basset hound hurt his back and has been on house rest for the last 5 weeks , he was going stir crazy , but with the harness he is now going out for short walks , and building up his muscle again , I’m very impressed with the harness and would recommend people to buy one , the company was also very friendly and in hand to answer any questions I had .
