The connector is used to adjust the width of the dog's wheelchair, whether you want it narrower or wider depending on your dog's breed and size. To change the adjustment, look at the inside of the bar and push down the adjustable button system. On both side push the buttons down and out to make the wheelchair wider, and the reverse for narrower.
