Foam Tyres are made of hard plastic and are compatible with the Walkin Dog Wheelchair. Purchase an extra set as replacements. Foam tyres are light and easy for your dog to pull when they're in their wheelchair. Foam tyres are excellent for all dogs on pavements or road walks. They are particularly good for mini and small dog wheelchairs as they are light and complement the smaller dog breeds.

  • Hi there, my dog uses a small wheelchair with the 8” tyres. They will need replacement soon, but I’m wondering if the 12” ones would be better, as the tyre structure and grip looks much better but obviously they are much bigger, will they fit the small frame? Thank you 🙏

Hello,  The 12" wheels are sadly not compatible with the small wheelchair.

Brilliant

Easy to fix and makes the cart so much more stable . I’m so pleased I got them . A little boy the other day said “look mummy that dogs got a bike” it’s still making me chuckle now xxxx

Good!

Service great.
Got our own bolts etc., as sturdier (& cheaper).
Could have done with a 10" wheel, as 8' too small & 12" slightly too big, but have adjusted to fit.
Larger wheels definitely better! Viva managing the rough ground much better with the larger wheels.

Not so smooth.

It's good they are lighter than the air tyres, but they don't go as smoothly over bumps, ridges, etc, as there's no give in them because they are solid.
