Extenders are the two side bars which go each horizontally along the Walkin Wheelchair. These extenders are made from aluminum and come with a clip which attaches to the front blue and red wheelchair harness. You can buy these extenders as replacements or if you are adjusting your set of wheels, perhaps for a second dog.   • Are all the extenders interchangeable i.e. can I use an 18.5 inch inthe same framework as a 26inch extender?

    Yes they are interchangable, both extenders mentioned fit the medium and large wheelchair.
