  • Can the cover be worn on both legs at the same time?

    Yes they can be worn on both legs at once, it will however be a tad bulky. Scandi do offer a custom fit for both legs, this is an additional cost of £40.

Absolutely fabulous!!

My dog had TPLO surgery on the 7th January.

The first night was heartbreaking, despite all the pain medication she cried all night. I sat in a chair beside her all night to gently stroke her head each time she cried.

The next day trying to prevent her licking proved impossibly difficult. I put an Elizabethan collar on her and she went wild trying to get it off with her front legs. I thought she would do damage to her hind leg so I took it off and put an inflatable collar on instead. She tolerated this but when unattended she could reach to lick her leg so we didn't leave her alone at any time from 6.30am to 10pm. A week later the wound wasn't healing as well as it should so I put a mesh muzzle on as well as the inflatable collar which did prevent her licking her leg. She looked truly disgusted about it but didn't fight it.

Then after much research I came across your product and ordered one right away, paying the additional postage so I received it as quickly as possible.

What a difference!! A total game changer. She is comfortable and happy, so much more relaxed and unable to lick her leg. I have a baby monitor camera in the room she is confined to and she was moving around every 15 mins the first few nights, then at least every hour but since putting the Medical Cover on she hasn't moved at all until about 6am.

I will be passing on the details of the product to my vet so they can suggest future clients get one in advance of any surgery.

Great leg cover to stop my GSD licking his wound.

I wanted something to stop my GSD removing the covers off his leg operation despite wearing a huge head cone! This does the job tremendously well.

Brilliant solution for post TPLO - can the Cone

We were really relieved to recived the leg protection for our dog after a TPLO as she was bumpling around the house with a cone one. Right hind leg protector

The leg protector is very well made and excellent quality .
We ordered this for our beagle Molly for after her cruciate ligament surgery, however we didn’t need to use it as she’s never bothered with the wound but it would have been far too long in the leg for her and too wide.
