Rex Specs dog goggles are excellent for active dogs, UV sensitive dogs and blind dogs (including SARDS). For active dog this might include protection during extreme sports and outdoor activities while swimming, walking in the woods, on a quad bike or in windy conditions. For dogs with UV sensitivity including overexposure to sunlight, each set of goggles comes with one clear lens, one smoke lens and a microfiber logo storage bag with extra lens pocket. If your dog is partial or totally blind, dog goggles are an easy way to protect their eyes from sticks and sharp corners, making them more confident to get around.

Perfect!

These are a perfect design for our Greyhound who has Pannus, worth the price as cheaper imitation goggles aren't great.

My gsd has been diagnosed with pannus and through my vet and my research Rex specs came highly recommended so I puchased from zoomadog! I had some questions reg the goggles which were answered straight away by Megan. I ordered them on the 6/8/25 and wow they were delivered the next day! I followed the instructions on how to get your dog used to them and it works. I have taken her out on this very sunny 8/5/25 (dark lens) with a couple of pawing incidents my Lola wasn’t in the slightest bit bothered about them. So instead of tree shade hopping we just enjoyed the sun as if it was cloudy. If I had known about Rex specs sooner I definitely would have purchased just for sunny days.

These are great protection against grass seeds and Mani was fine wearing them straight away (he's even been told he looks cool by other dog walkers!). It's been difficult to find goggles to fit an XL breed and these fit perfectly.

  • I have a small Boston Terrier (6kg). I measured her and her head is 12” and muzzle is 7”, would you recommend small or small/wide?

    I would recommend the Rex Specs Small/Wide size. 

    Boston Terriers often have a shorter, wider muzzle and a slightly broader skull compared to other small breeds. The Small/Wide Rex Specs are specifically designed for dogs with shorter snouts or brachycephalic features.

    The standard Small size is narrower and better for long-nosed, slender-headed breeds (like Italian Greyhounds or Whippets).

    Rex Specs should sit snugly without putting pressure on the eyes or slipping. If you're between sizes or unsure, the Small/Wide offers a better chance of a more comfortable and functional fit for your Boston Terrier.

  • Hi there, planning on ordering the black goggles but how do you know what colour the lens is? Was hoping to start with a clear lens so I can see her eyes while wearing them and not a blacked uv lens.

    All goggles come with 1 Clear & 1 Smoke Lens and microfiber storage bag. 

  • I have a greyhound, muzzle = 9inch and head = 15inch - will the L be too big around the muzzle? thanks.

    The Large RexSpecs will be the best fit for your greyhound. The muzzle measurement starts at 9" for this size. 

  • Would these be suitable for whippets?

    Hi Theresa - yes whippets can certainly fit Rex Specs Goggles. Look at the photo in the bunch at the top, and look out for Dobby. Measure your whippets face like the diagram and pick the best size. Get in touch if you need any help confirming

  • Do these goggles work for flat nosed breeds?

    The standard googles will not work for flat nosed breeds, however RexSpex have a size called Small-Wide which are made especially for flat nosed breeds. We can order these in for you.

  • I have measured my springer spaniel and her measurements fall between two sizes (M and L) Head is 14.5” Muzzle is 9.5 - 10” Which size is best to order ?

    We would recommend the large size for your Springer Spaniel, thank you 

  • I have a pug would these be ok for a pug breed.

    Yes Rex Specs work well with pugs, make sure to measure correctly around the nose.
