Power Paws - The Best Anti Slip Dogs Socks That Stay On!

Power Paws non slip dog socks from Woodrow Wear are The Best Anti Slip Dogs Socks That actually Stay On! If you have tried many different non slip dog socks, and they either don't work or come off, you need to try our Power Paws dog socks - In our experience these are the only socks that will actually stay on your dogs paws. The best way to size them up is to get you dog weight bearing on a piece of paper, and draw a line for the width and length only where your dogs paw is touching the paper. Power paws also come in a greyhound edition, which is for any dogs with longer thinner shaped paws. Image result for power paws dog socks"

Power Paws non-slip dog socks prevent dogs from slipping on floors, give improved traction to senior dogs and help the mobility of dogs with hip dysplasia, arthritis and other mobility issues. These socks have reinforced stitching in the front to prevent nails coming through, and unlike so many other cheaper version these actually stay on.

We recommend these socks for indoor use and light outdoor use. We would suggest only using these outdoors in dry weather, and when your dog is on a lead to prevent losing any socks when a dogs running or playing off the lead. For outdoor play and walks we recommend Walker Active Boots as they are more robust.
In 8 sizes from XXS to XXXL, and there is also a special Greyhound edition sock for dogs with 'hare' shaped feet. These socks come in a pack of 4.
Uses:
  • Traction for leg weakness - a symptom of hip dysplasia or arthritis
  • Mobility for dogs who struggle with hardwood or polished floors
  • Protection for injured feet, alternative to the cone
  • Protects hardwood floors, furniture or cars from nail scratches
  • Keeps paws clean after grooming
  • Protection from hot pavements and allergens

Features:
  • Comfortable to wear, light and breathable material
  • Made to fit and stay on dog feet - elasticated top and middle
  • Non-slip grip material on the bottom of each sock
  • Machine washable
  • Available in 2 types - Regular and Greyhound. Greyhound edition is made for any hare-footed shape dog (where the paw is longer than it is wide e.g Whippets, Poodles but can be any breed of dog)
  • Stays on all day, even when running or playing
Directions for use:
  • A good fit is a snug fit. If your socks slip off, swivel around or is too large for the foot, you need a smaller size
  • If your sock will not stretch to your dog's foot, a bigger size is needed
  • In the rare case of where the sock is a perfect fit for the foot but it slips down, you can shrink the socks in a warm wash followed by cold drying
  • If you dog needs a longer sock, the Greyhound edition of PowerPaws may be more suitable
Sizes:
Please view the measuring chart below. If your dog is between sizes, we would recommend choosing the smaller size.
Place your dog's paw on some paper and mark the outer limits of paw length and width to compare with the measurements with the sizes below.
Please note- these socks are for dogs with 'square' shaped paws - where the width and length are similar. If your dog has a longer length than width, please look at the Greyhound PowerPaws.

I am looking for traction socks that will STAY UP. Foot width is 3" Can you please help me with this. Would the greyhound sock work?

ZOOMADOG:
Power Paws non-slip socks have an elasticated design so that they stay up. A good trick to know is – if they don’t look too small, it probably means they’re too big! The socks are meant to stretch for a good fit (check they’re not too tight – you should be able to fit some fingers inside them when they’re on). Signs of a good fit are that your dog’s paw pads line up with the non-slip grips on the soles of the socks, the socks aren’t too large for your dog’s paw and they don’t swivel or slip off. If your dog’s paw width is 3" you should try the XL size. The greyhound version is specifically for hare-shaped sighthound paws.

Hi my cavapooshon has started to constantly lick her paws. The vet has given her piritan but she’s still licking all day and most of the night. She’s 5. I wondered if she’s got allergic to pollens etc. She eats hypoallergenic kibble. Would getting her socks to wear outside be ok for her to see if it would stop ?I’m worried that her feet will still be able to breath properly. She doesn’t like the hardness of boots. Can you help also i would not be able to measure her properly to get the right size.

ZOOMADOG replied:
It sounds like your Cavopooshon might have developed an allergy to grass seed pollen. It’s a great idea to try the socks to protect the paws and skin from the pollen spores, hopefully reducing irritation. They are breathable, like human socks, but obviously will only be suitable outdoors in dry conditions. Call or email us if you need help with measuring.
