The Walkabout Cruciate Knee Brace is a lightweight dog brace used to treat minor damage to the knee including overuse, cranial cruciate ligament tears, luxating (dislocating) patella and arthritis. The Walkabout Cruciate Knee Brace will keep your dog's joint compressed and stabilised to allow any inflammation to calm down, this will give the joint a chance to heal. Measure:

A - Circumference of the abdomen directly in front of the back legs.
B - Circumference of the upper thigh (back leg) at the point where it meets the body.
H - Circumference 1" above the knee. Dogs under 15lbs measure 1/2" above knee.
G - Circumference 1" below the knee.

Waste of time

Fitted my lurcher well but once it was on, she just stood there with a shaky Elvis leg and wouldn’t walk at all. She was able to walk without it but with a few hop every few minutes.

DOES NOT DO A THING!

This brace cost us £90 and its totally worthless and does not give any support. I would pay any amount to help my Lab but this is a spongy bag with holes in, does not make her life or ability to walk any easier.
As others have said the 4 or 5 star ratings must be fictious!
Will be contacting Zoomadog for a refund.

I was dissapointed into the velcro strap across the back. soon wore out only after a couple of weeks. so it comes loose. connecting strap needs to be a bit more adjustable .
