How to Use the FitPaws Giant Bone

Designed to be used for weight bearing activities and balance training for companion pets, sporting and working dogs, or for animal rehabilitation and therapy. It has two training surfaces: a flat, smooth surface and a textured surface. Balance difficulty can be easily adjusted by removing or adding air with an air pump. The K9 FitBone™ is designed to be used inside or or outside. Please ensure the area is clear of sharp objects like rocks, sticks, etc.

The level of difficulty of the K9FITbone Balance Platforms can be easily adjusted by removing or adding air with the included pump and needle (as shown below).

The more air added to the K9FITbone Balance Platforms, the more challenging the exercise becomes for your dog.

For Sizing:

All dogs can use any size K9FITbone! Depending on goal of the exercise, the Regular, Giant or mini K9FITbone can be used. If you want your dog to stand on the K9FITbone lengthwise, measure the distance from your dog's front paws to back paws and compare to the length measurements of the K9FITbone above.

Safety:

Before beginning this or any physical activity with your dog, ensure they are in good health. A trip to your veterinarian is a great way to start out on the right paw and reduce risk of injury.

Care Instructions:

Do not use harsh or abrasive chemical cleaners on K9 FitBone™ as it might scratch it. Keep K9 FitBone™ from heat source and never leave outside in the weather or sunlight. Wash with warm soapy water.

FitPaws Balance Ramp

A little disappointed with this ramp. My mini dachshund had spinal surgery 12 weeks ago and I was advised to make her take more weight on her back legs. Thought this ramp would be the answer, however she cannot get a grip. Legs sliding. I place a lick pad on top and this gives her the grip necessary. Surely it shouldn’t have a surface that doesn’t give any grip for recovering pets no matter what size. My Lottie is 5.5 kg

My dog had TPLO surgery a few months ago, so I brought the 14 inch balance disc. I’ve since brought the new 18 inch and they both work together perfectly. Great quality and it’s really helping her strength. Very fast delivery too
