The Walkin’ Carpal Splint is a lightweight dog brace designed to immobilise and keep your dog's carpal joint totally straight, full-rigid and immobilised. This Carpal Splint is ideal for tendon and ligament damage as it gives complete stabilisation, keeping the carpal joint firm. The Walkin' Carpal Splint supports your dog's wrist or carpus only and does not extend under the foot or paw of your dog. The Carpal Splint is positioned at the back of the dog's front leg and is adjusted with padded Velcro straps secured over the front of the leg. Interior padding in the splint keeps the leg secure and comfortable, non-slip pads on the bottom of the Carpal Splint add stability. If you don't need a full rigid splint please look at the Balto Fracture Splint, this has removable splints for flexibility. If full lower limb bracing is needed, please see our Full Leg Splint or Bootie Splint.

  • Walkin' Carpal Splint will support your dog's wrist or carpus
  • The splint is positioned at the back of your dog's front leg
  • Adjust with padded Velcro straps
  • Interior padding in the Carpal Splint keeps the leg secure and comfortable

Review: "Lucy my German Shepherd has degenerative joint disease in her wrists that makes walking, moving generally, painful. The carpal splint helps alleviate the painful bend in her wrists, meaning she can join us on the shorter walks with her younger sister again." [Laura, Manchester]  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well made and good support but very difficult to put on a dog showing passive resistance to it. It takes two hands to fasten the straps.
Very supportive when in place.

Helped 1 issue but caused 2 others

Purchased this brace as it sounded ideal for the job plus the added bonus of the reviews. It’s great for carpal support and outdoor use but the top strap has cut into my dogs shin, and the middle side buckle has rubbed the inside of her leg. Before you fit it make sure the Velcro straps aren’t mis-aligned. I would also recommend you use some form of shin pad shield especially in this heat, the foam is too hot and sweaty to use and don’t leave the brace on for long periods as previous reviewer said. I only used it for half hour at first to get her used to it, then increased to hour, then 2 hours but I haven’t left it on since. I only use it when she needs exercise or in the garden for short time. I cut the toes out of a pair of my soft cotton socks and used one as front padding. Seems to have helped with the issues. It’s a shame that the braces are so expensive and that you charge such a high fast track delivery fee. Other site only charges £5 for next day delivery, I should have shopped round more.
