WagWear Mojave - Breathable Rubber Dog Boots for Extra Grip & Paw Protection (two boots)

🟢 In stock, ready to ship

Please Measure Before Ordering!! Use the Chart Here

WagWear Mojave breathable rubber dog boots are excellent for extra protection or extra grip to walk and run in confidence. These dog boots are good for broken toes, damage to nails or paw pad, broken skin, repetitive biting, itchy skin and light paw dragging or knuckling as they don’t split like other brands. Perhaps you have laminate flooring or wooden floors, so your dog needs extra grip.

The hole design often means people call them "dog crocs" but importantly the holes allow for lots of ventilation when exercising or in the warmer months, so your dog's paws don't get sweaty. These breathable boots have a wide paw opening and Velcro straps to secure firmly on your dogs paws. They are comfortable, easy to wash and light. They can be worn in the house, garden or on walks. If you are looking for a solid waterproof boot, look at WagWear Wellies

Please note: If your dog's drags or knuckles severely, please look at Maximus PawsUp or buy a second pair of WagWear boots once worn out. This boot can not stand excessive dragging, only light to moderate.

  • Excellent boots for extra paw protection and grip
  • Great boot option if your dog lightly paw drags or knuckles
  • 100% rubber and light
  • Easy to put on with wide opening and Velcro to securely fasten
  • Easy to wash as made from rubber

Review: "Because of the holes in these boots Winnie’s paws were well ventilated and on removal I tested the temperature of her paws after every use and they were always cool and dry." [Dennis, Wells] ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Questions & Answers

Have a Question?

Ask a Question
  • Can the dogs wear them front & back paws 4 in total

Yes, the boots can be worn on on 4 paws. They are universal so can be worn on wither paw, front or back left and right.

  • Are these boots shaped for right and left feet or can they be used on either foot ?

Boots are the same shape, so they can go on either paw.

  • Hi there, do the Wagwear Mojave help with environmental allergies ? I know that might seem like a silly question as they have holes in them, but I like the fact they seem breathable as well as protect the paws in this heat. Thanks

Yes, the WagWellies Mojave dog boots can be a helpful part of managing environmental allergies by keeping allergens off your dog’s paws, discouraging licking/chewing, and reducing indoor allergen spread.

  • I have a 3 legged Border Collie, missing front right. I need to protect the left front paw as it is permanently sore, but due to the constant pounding and pressure on the front right, most boots don't stay on. Are these sturdy and secure enough to withstand that kind of action?

These are great boots for grip and protection and should be able to withstand tripaw action, we do recommend measuring to get the best fit possible for your collie.

  • Are mojave boots suitable for the front legs of a Cairn terrier

Please measure the widest part of your dogs paw and follow the guide for the most suitable size. The boots are suitable for all different breeds.

  • Would these boots be suitable for a whippet? He already wears hunnyboots but, unfortunately, he lost one today. Do you supply boots singly, or would I need to order another pair? Would the rubber boots fit snugly round his thin legs? Thanks for reading.

I'm sorry, these boots will not fit greyhounds or whippets as these breeds have long thin paws and WagWear boots are square, so they will simply come off when they start walking. Email us and we can see if we have a spare boot in the office :) Our email is: woof@zoomadog.co.uk

  • So these have a loop so the back legs could be clipped up into the wheels when needed?

These can be worn down when a dog's in a wheelchair with legs down, but no, they don't clip up in the wheelchair. For that you need wheelchair stirrups.  The wheelchair kit comes with stirrups included but if you need spares, you can get spare stirrups.

  • My dachshund had spinal surgery in May and has now been going on shortish walks. He is not knuckling but must not be lifting his back right paw properly as he has worn two of his nails right down. What would you suggest?

WagWear protect the nails from the scraping caused by light knuckling. For severe knuckling, the boots may not last as long as normal. Maximus PawsUp are corrective knuckling boots and another option.

  • Hello, my spaniel slips when he walks on the laminate flooring. It is his back legs that I need boots for. Can you recommend what is suitable please

I would recommend the Breathable WagWear Mojave boots, these are 100% rubber giving them excellent non-slip traction on laminate or slippery flooring. The holes in the boots make them breathable so your dog won't sweat inside like a normal boot. Measure your dogs paw width to get the right size boot.

WagWear Mojave Rubber Breathable Dog Boots

WagWar Mojave is our hot and dry weather dog boot, designed to protect paws from the hazard of hot pavement. The perforated holes allow lots of ventilation. The open slits make them easy to slide off and on, while also creating a secure fit that will stay put even while on the run. Our patented design is sleek, sturdy, and, most importantly, comfortable, making for the perfect paw protection.

Getting a dog used to wearing boots is a process. It is very normal to see an amusing high-step in the beginning. This is because they can’t feel the floor and it throws off their coordination, they need time to re-coordinate themselves. It may even take getting them outside and on with the walk before they start to realize that they can in fact walk & run as usual.

Crocs and Socks

I have a 15year old Lab/Vizsla named Jake. He had started to knuckle over on his right hind paw, so I started researching boots to protect his paws. I wanted something that was easy to put on and take off and also easy to keep clean, as despite the knuckling he is still a pretty active dog. A few purchases later which didn’t fit the bill, I discovered Zoomadog and theses Wagwear boots - absolute game changer. They are easy on and off, sturdy enough to support his foot, light and washable!! He wears his with socks as it’s keeping a dressing on his paw clean from dust (kids trainer socks!!) and is rocking them!!! Great service from Zoomadog team, won’t hesitate to use again.

Third Time Lucky!

These boots are of great assistance to my very elderly golden retriever who has swollen and sore front paws. But getting the correct size proved a problem even though I measured her paws correctly. I had to return two pairs before settling for the XXL size. The problem was that the size that would have technically been the right one for her proved impossible to get her paws into because the entrance of the boot is too narrow for her paw. So the XXL was about the best but is too long and she constantly tripped in them. So I cut two centimetres off the end and sewed the sole and upper together. It may not look pretty but she doesn't care. Needs must!

Really impressed with the boots. Baxter, our 15 year old Springerdor, struggled to get a grip on our oak floor and kitchen tiles, with the boots Baxter no longer slips or falls over.

I loved these as it let me take my dog out once his bandage came off.
It was fine when i was with him but he manages to remove it when i wasnt with him
