The doggy crocs are great, I think these may actually work!!! I only got them yesterday but he has worn it on every walk and the strap is above the dew claw too, and they are quick to wash and dry so looking good. Baggy width ways but he only has 2.5 toes so I may see if I can get some form of paddling in, length is good.

Well aired too and easy to slip on and off that reduces faff and upset.

Some fitting tips for very good boots

The booties arrived on time and, at first appeared to be quite small - the secret is putting the boots on when your doggie is standing so they fit right. Also to make sure the webbing captures the front tongue of the boot so it stays on. Have been for a few walks now, Genna who is quite happy wearing them, feet don't get hot, no additional scraping noticed and seeming to be quite robust (she did not get on at all with mikkis). Will be buying another pair as spares for her holidays - thank you

Good Doggie Shoes

Hard wearing and a good big size for our big German Shepherd with stage 4 cancer, degenerative myelopathy and bladder bleeding from aggressive chemotherapy. Good for walking and good when he’s in his wheels 🛞 living his best life.

WagWear Mojave® Rubber Dog Breathable Boots (black, a pair)

Benefits

WagWellies® Mojave is our hot and dry weather boot. Designed to protect paws from the hazard of hot pavement. The perforated holes allow lots of ventilation. The open slits make them easy to slide off and on, while also creating a secure fit that will stay put even while on the run. Our patented design is sleek, sturdy, and, most importantly, comfortable, making for the perfect paw protection.

Getting a dog used to wearing boots is a process. It is very normal to see an amusing high-step in the beginning. This is because they can’t feel the floor and it throws off their coordination, they need time to re-coordinate themselves. It may even take getting them outside and on with the walk before they start to realize that they can in fact walk & run as usual.
