The Scandi Orthopedic’s Grade 3 Hock and Tarsal Splint provides rigid support excellent for medium to severe hock injuries, weakness, hyperextension, strains or arthritis. It prevents hock joint movement, stabilising the joint and promoting faster healing. The outer part of this splint is made from thermoplastic, which you put into boiled water to shape. This splint is, therefore, fantastic in terms of fit, as exact fit means faster healing for your dog. Inside the splint are two neoprene layers, making this splint very comfortable and can be worn 24/7. Important, if your dog has arthritis in the paw you need a Grade 3 with Paw here.

This splint also comes with a rain cover to keep your dog's splint dry and protected during adventures.

      Scandi Orthopaedic Dog Hock Wrap - Grade 3

      Scandi Orthopedic deliver effective complementary treatment options when surgery is not possible, or as an extra insurance for a successful post-operative rehabilitation. Four grades of support are provided across all their orthoses as summarised in the diagram.

      Three grades of carpal combine neoprene and Velcro to provide highly customisable supports which may be hand washed at 30C.

      All wraps and splints may be hand-washed using mild detergent at 30C. The thermoplastic insert used in Grades 2.5 and 3 should be washed in cold water only.

      Game changer!

      This splint has given my precious pooch a new lease of life. She has quite a severe achillies injury and although not completely ruptured it is very painful and certainly life changing for her. I bought this and the Vet fitted it superbly. I can't tell you the difference in my dogs mental state. She's like a puppy again (she's 9) We've been taking things slowly building up her walks and trying to take it steady. So far it's doing a brilliant job. She's wearing it 24/7 with a couple of checks and resetting each day. No rubbing or discomfort so far. Very happy owner and dog. Thank you!

      After emailing regarding our faulty equipment couldn’t be happier with the response we was contacted and offered a replacement which we received 2 days later very happy with the excellent customer service

      We have only used the product for 2 weeks and it’s falling apart after paying £230 we are not happy at all

      Got the splint fitted at vets 3 days ago.so far it's doing the job well.my dog has got used to walking ok with it on pretty quick.
      The size seems great for our collie and not too pricey as long as it works then it's definitely worth the money

      My girl has Achilles tendon problems. I have purchased Balto, Walkin braces. Im sure for some people they work; for my girl they did not.
      This Scandi brace is streets a head. The cushioning is fantastic, the other brace caused sores. With Scandi she doesn't get any !!!. It's not easy to find a professional to do the fitting. My vet didn't want to do it. (They sell Balto) Luckily my dogs hydrotherapist had worked with Scandi. So she did the measuring/fitting. It took nearly 3 months to get because various problems. It's Life Changing for my girl !!!!
